Job Description:
We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our GWAM (Global Wealth Asset Management) – Technology Team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to be involved in an Agile, high performing team doing application support, application deployment, business requirement gathering and data analysis all in support of solutions that conform to Manulife standards. The candidate will need to have a breadth and depth of experience that will allow her/him to devise and support solutions that integrate appropriately within the organization and its application frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
Acts as daily scrum master
Level 2 Support Team Member that contributes to the BAU/KLO work for ManulifeIM.com and supports applications
Active monitoring of batch cycle loads, including daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly processes
Maintains process documentations
Engages with business to request/load/proof the data updates in production and lower environments
Support and triage of production incidents, as needed
Performs release management to the supported applications
Contributes to scrum team to provide development support of the application including reduction of “Toil”, code improvements and bug fixing
Working hours will be during Eastern Standard Time to support the daily batch|
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
Experience: At least two years of Information Technology experience or application support experience
Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home (dependent on the established RTO guidelines by Manulife), business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)
Shift Schedule: Amenability to work on the assigned schedule (PH Night Shift - Rotating)
Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:
Prior experience or understanding of Cloud infrastructure
Pipeline execution with DR management
Experience in Agile
Experience with Azure
Experience with GitHub
Experience with SNOW and JIRA
Eastern Standard Time Support
Understanding of Java is preferred
