Job Description:

This position will collaborate with the Finance Center of Excellence (COE) teams on the delivery of standardized processes using strategic tools (Anaplan, Alteryx, PowerSuite). This role will also manage the Finance billing/invoicing SSC teams in the transformation journey towards its target operating model.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Finance COE teams and provide governance in the delivery of strategic projects.

  • Provide timely, accurate and insightful dashboards to facilitate business review meetings and drive necessary decisions.

  • Partner with Finance COE teams, including BU partners, to identify painpoints and address issues.

  • Act as process owner of the billing/invoicing SSC team. Lead the team and manage end-to-end processes including: (a) Onboarding of new vendors; (b) Reviewing vendor contracts to ensure appropriate approvals and billing rates; and (c) Timely and accurate encoding of billing/invoices.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of all invoices and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Identify billing/invoicing process improvements and efficiencies.

Special Projects

Special projects will arise from time to time that will require strong financial knowledge, strong analytical and organizational skills with an innovative mindset. The role will be responsible ad-hoc projects as required by senior management pertaining to the introduction of new services, products and processes designed.

Qualifications

  • University Business Degree and/or recognized accounting designation (Chartered Accountant or CPA);

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting operations, financial reporting and project management experience (BPO industry experience is preferred

  • Prior experience of managing shared services/offshore team is an advantage

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with automation tools / applications (PowerBI, Anaplan, Alteryx)

  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, willingness to take ownership and accountability

  • Able to cope in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, with the mindset of continuous improvement and aiming for excellence

  • Strong oral/written communication skills required to interact with senior officers and representatives from other Divisions and functional departments

  • Strong relationship management skills to build enduring and productive alliances across matrix organizations.

  • Experience in partnering with a diverse team located in multiple locations and time zones.

  • Strong presentation, influencing and negotiation skills across the organization to effect change.

  • Professional attitude and client service orientation.

  • Collaborative and results-oriented.

  • Ability to work independently or willing to collaborate with other teams for project with huge benefits.
